Tldr: What are your most profitable trade strategies? How did you get your enigma? What am I doing wrong? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also, I haven’t had much success using trading sites since my playing time is limited and I never know when my next opportunity to play will be. Is it worth it to use the gems to roll GC? Should I try dealing in more valuable rune words? Should I try making runewords with the hopes of getting a good roll that I can resell? Every time I’ve “gambled” using these methods I’ve ended up losing. I’ve been able to get my hammerdin pretty well geared up aside from Enigma (using skullders). I make a game with the trade info in the title and MF chaos, trav, and cows with my hammerdin. These are just a few of my strategies but at this rate it will be months before I will be able to get to Ber or Jah.
Trading Mal for low War Travs and then trading the Travs for Ist. I have been able to do this about a dozen times. Trading Ist Mal for Arach and then trading the Arach for 2-3 Ist.
I know some people will trade Ist but given the time it takes to find a buyer at Ist I am more profitable going for Mal since I can make more trades per hour. Trading mid level items for P-Gems and then once I have 40 I trade them for Mal. I only get about 3-4 hours a week to play given my busy work and family schedule. I have been trying to maximize my ”profits” while doing trades and have found a few things that work but at this rate it is going to take me many more months to get an Enigma.
